For RV’s and the marine environment, it’s not uncommon to see a multitude of lighting and 12V device control wires at a single junction panel. The advent of digital switching systems reduces the space required and increases safety and reliability over traditional fuses and breakers. STAR-Rover-4 sports 4 x 10A dimmable channels at 12V. Max current combined in 40A continuous. Short circuit protection is at 80 millionths of a second protecting even the smallest of wires.

Wireless Communication from Switches and Touch Displays

Any channel can be switched by wireless switches, CAN/ NMEA switches, Touch Display. Up to 6 switches can be configured to operate any one STAR-Rover-4 channel. This gives near infinite possibilities for users with master and sub-master control easy to implement. Wireless switches significantly reduces installation time. Configuration is done on a Smartphone app. It also simplifies combining lights and devices in scene control. In the Marine environment, the NMEA variation means switch control from your favorite MFD.

For maximum safety, STAR-Rover-4 protects at the ultimate level. Short circuit protection occurs in 80 millionths of a second. The highest quality integrated hardware protected MOSFETs (metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor) from Germany are used. This means that high in-rush currents can be allowed at 4 x nominal capacity whilst still having short circuit protection.

Interoperability with Thousands of other Devices that are “Matter” compliant.

STAR-Rover-4 is “Matter” compliant. This is a new standard supported by Amazon, Apple, Google, Samsung. Its primary purpose assureds interoperability and security. There are over 2,000 compliant devices and it is the fastest ever adopted standard.  Fridges, Air conditioners, lights, wall switches are just some of the items approved. Imagine the convenience when a majority of global players move to this wireless communication standard and one app on your smartphone can control them all. The STARSHIP difference is it is all DC power for RV’s and marine and has integrated CAN/NMEA and Long Range Bluetooth Switches.

Any output channel of STARSHIP can activate any other of the 2,000 devices if such a connection makes sense. The “automation” is all done on the smartphone.

When a user approaches their RV or boat, the automation can turn lights on, then switch to amber for no insects, blue or red late in the evening all completely automatically. Switch the light on over the galley kitchen and the AC powered induction or air fryer is automatically turned on. Switch it off and its all off. Leave the boat or RV and the Inverter and non essential power is automatically turned off. It does the smarts. As the phones get embedded AI, (Google has already released AI Scripts) the user gets the immediate benefit.

Multiple wired and wireless switch buttons can be easily paired in any combination.
